The CTICC makes a client manual available showing floor plans and detailed technical specifications for venue spaces including Auditorium 1, its foyer and Auditorium 2. The manual can be used by event organisers to assess the spaces and their facilities.

Non-approved service providers can register and complete a safety induction to gain access to the CTICC building and work at events.

The CTICC can provide its own preferred suppliers to help with event hosting, including event coordination and set-up, quoting, planning and permit applications.

The CTICC may offer a 10% commission on venue hire only and 5% on food and beverage, or 5% on packages, to a PCO, DMC or travel agent that brings the business to the CTICC and is fully involved in coordinating the event.

The CTICC may offer a 5% referral commission on venue hire to a PCO, DMC or travel agent that books the event and potentially makes the payment but does not participate in event coordination.

The CTICC provides Ethernet access to its backbone with shared or dedicated internet access, up to 1 Gbps depending on the service ordered, for each connection ordered.

Exhibitors using equipment that produces heat, smoke or open flames can seek written approval of their plans from CTICC management. Approved use also requires a qualified fire marshal at the organiser’s cost.

Event organisers can submit event and company profiles to the CTICC, while exhibition organisers can submit exhibitor profiles and a list of exhibitors before the event.

Event organisers can request accommodation for cultural, religious and dietary preferences. The CTICC can provide the function and, where necessary, use accredited cultural caterers for traditional meals.

- Who can apply:
- The event organiser must inform the CTICC of the function’s dietary requirements.
- How to act on it:
- Tell the CTICC about the function’s dietary requirements. If the CTICC cannot produce a requested traditional meal, the main meal may be subcontracted to an accredited and preferred cultural caterer.
