Delete your Govermate data or account

Delete selected data and keep your account

In the mobile app, open Profile, choose Remembered preferences, and use Forget on any item you no longer want Govermate to retain. You can also remove saved opportunities and delete watches or alert preferences from their respective screens. Equivalent saved, preference and alert controls are available in the signed-in web dashboard.

If you cannot use those controls, email support@govermate.com from the address linked to your account with the subject "Delete selected Govermate data" and identify the information you want removed. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on the request.

Permanently delete your account

Account deletion permanently removes your account, profile, saved opportunities, alert preferences, device tokens, active watches, conversations and remembered preferences. Support and audit records are anonymised where we must keep limited operational history for security, fraud prevention, tax, legal or support integrity reasons.

Delete in the mobile app

1. Open the Govermate app and sign in.
2. Go to Profile.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Confirm the deletion prompt.

Delete from the web

Sign in at https://www.govermate.com, open your dashboard or account settings, and use the delete-account control. If you cannot sign in, email us from the address on your Govermate account.

Request deletion by email

Email support@govermate.com with the subject "Delete my Govermate account" and include the email address linked to your account. We may ask you to verify your identity before deleting the account.

What may be retained

We may retain de-identified or legally required records, such as billing records, security logs, abuse-prevention records and anonymised support/audit events, only for as long as needed for lawful purposes described in our Privacy Policy.
