Because of Insurance Act updates, the funeral benefit can only be paid to the person you officially nominated as your beneficiary, not to someone chosen by your employer.

Who it is for:
members of the Fund and their husband or wife and close family (covered family members)
How to act on it:
Ensure you have a valid funeral beneficiary nomination form and keep it updated; the benefit is then paid to your officially nominated beneficiary.
