The full October 1979 issue of the Water Research Commission's journal Water SA is made available online, containing six articles on water and sanitation science. Each article is listed with its authors and a 'View PDF' link and a 'Download' link so anyone can read or save a copy at no charge. There is no deadline or application; the issue stays available on the website and the page also links to the archive of all Water SA issues.

The Water Research Commission publishes its Regional Water Supply Services Model as an e-tool on its website, offered as a ZIP file that anyone can download from the RWSSM page. The page also gives a contact for questions about the tool, but states no fee and no deadline.
