You can request access to your personal records held by an institution. This includes any documents, files, or data that contain information about you. You must submit a formal application to the Information Officer.

Indien 'n versoek om inligting afgeweier is of nie binne die gestelde tydperk beantwoord is nie, kan die versoeke 'n appèl by die Inligtingsreguleerder inskryf of selfs 'n aansoek by die hooggeregtigheid doen.

Enige persoon kan 'n versoek rig aan 'n openbare of private liggaam om toegang tot inligting te verkry, soos bepaal in die Wet op Bevordering van Toegang tot Inligting (PAIA), Wet 2 van 2000, soos gewysig.
