Any person may voluntarily register a major B-BBEE transaction meeting the threshold if it was concluded before 24 October 2014.

Parties to major B-BBEE ownership transactions under Code 100 that meet or exceed R100 million, calculated using the combined annual turnover or asset value of both entities, can register the transaction with the B-BBEE Commission. Qualifying transactions concluded on or after 24 October 2014 must be registered, while qualifying transactions concluded before that date may be registered voluntarily.
