merSETA invites eligible organisations to apply for funding to be appointed as service providers to plan, coordinate and implement Career Awareness events that promote high-demand occupations in the manufacturing and engineering sector. The programme will run 50 events (25 urban and 25 rural) across all nine provinces, with proposals limited to a maximum of four events in no more than two provinces, and with TVET/WIL partnership requirements for unemployed TVET learners.

- eligible organisations (including CBOs, NGOs, NPOs, private companies, sole proprietorships, cooperatives, trade unions, higher education institutions, TVET colleges, CET colleges, accredited skills development providers, and event management companies) that can implement Career Awareness events and secure TVET college WIL partnerships

Eligible organisations can apply for discretionary grants to implement career guidance and awareness initiatives on occupations in high demand.
