Apply to implement career awareness events on occupations in high demand in the manufacturing, engineering and related services sector, with a focus on STEM. Your proposal must target Grades 8–12 learners at Technical and Comprehensive High Schools, STEM learners, learners with special educational needs at special schools, and unemployed TVET learners, and must fit the national and provincial event caps. Applications must be submitted as a brand-new submission on the NSDMS Projects Portal within the stated dates.

Eligible organisations are invited to apply for funding to plan, coordinate and implement career awareness events promoting occupations in high demand within the manufacturing, engineering and related services sector. The programme will implement 50 events (25 urban and 25 rural) across all nine provinces, with requirements including TVET college partnerships and WIL registration for unemployed TVET learners.

Eligible organisations can apply for discretionary grants from merSETA to implement career guidance and awareness initiatives focused on occupations in high demand within the manufacturing, engineering and related services sector.

Funding Window 7 is open for eligible Skills Development Providers (SDPs) and Assessment Centres. Eligible entities are encouraged to submit their applications through the NSDMS before the closing date.
