OpportunityCPD/CEU cross-recognition opportunity
AHPCSA practitioners or therapists may attend CPD activities that have been approved by another statutory health council (or by a CPD Committee for a specific profession) for CPD purposes, as long as the activity is relevant to their scope of practice. They do not need to apply for the activity to be re-accredited by their own CPD Committee or by the Registrar to claim the CEUs accrued for attending.

- How to act on it
- Attend the approved CPD activity and ensure it is relevant to your specific scope of practice; if uncertain about scope relevance, present information prior to the activity for confirmation by the Registrar; keep the relevant CPD certificate and be ready to provide audit information if selected.
