Qualifying employees within the municipality may receive a fixed monthly transport allowance under the municipality’s Travel Allowance Policy 2026, with rules on who qualifies and how the allowance is calculated and adjusted.

- Employees must qualify under the policy’s scope and have their allowance application reviewed through the policy’s approvals process (Transport Allowance Committee recommends approval to the Municipal Manager).
Suppliers who intend doing business with Dr. Beyers Naudé Local Municipality must register on the Central Supplier Database (CSD). The notice also explains that current service providers must submit updated B-BBEE Certificates, MBD 4 and MBD 8 documents, and that the CSD supports compliance verification through SARS and CIPC interfaces.
