The inner bowl pitch at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium is being fully refreshed by removing old grass and soil, then adding new sand, seed, and fertilizer to create a world-class playing surface. The process includes a six-week growth phase during which the bowl will be restricted to the public.

A voluntary, pro bono opportunity to join a multidisciplinary panel that will identify and present strategic development opportunities and capital projects for Nelson Mandela Bay. The panel will work over three months in three 4-hour sessions to develop high-level presentations for executive decision-making.
