Learners in Grades 10 and 11 at Uitenhage High School may be promoted to the next grade if they achieve at least 40% in any three subjects (including the Home Language), 30% in any three other subjects, do not exceed 20 unexcused absences, complete all School-based Assessment tasks, and pass the Language of Learning and Teaching (LOLT) along with three other subjects. If the Home Language is the LOLT, a 30% mark is accepted. Learners must also submit full evidence of assessment tasks if they have a Level 1.
