Members of the public can assist the Madlanga Commission by offering information and testifying before it, and can reach it through its hotline and by email. Over the past year the Commission's hotline took 1894 calls and it received 4548 emails from members of the public, and 110 witnesses gave testimony.

The Gauteng Department of Health has rolled out the bi-annual HIV-prevention injection Lenacapavir across 133 health facilities in five districts. The injection is given twice a year and can reduce the risk of HIV acquisition when used alongside safer-sex practices.

The National Council on Gender-Based Violence and Femicide asks any family in Gauteng with a missing loved one to come forward so that DNA identification of unidentified women whose bodies were found in the province can proceed. Families are directed to the SAPS and the Gauteng Department of Health. The Council says no woman should be buried unnamed.

The Department of Agriculture's district agricultural shows give farmers a platform to exhibit and sell livestock, fresh produce and other agricultural products, to meet market agents and buyers, and to exchange knowledge with other farmers.
