The Drama Studies building will undergo roof replacement to ensure structural integrity and safety. Once completed, the building will resume full use for teaching and academic activities related to drama studies.

Students and staff will gain access to six new lecture venues and seven computer laboratories housed in a new four-storey extension to S Block. This facility supports the Engineering and Applied Science faculties and includes space for the Co-operative Education Department on the ground floor.

This opportunity allows emerging South African creatives to be shortlisted as one of the top five finalists from 51 applicants. Selected candidates receive a month-long use of a Ford Eco-Sport, a TW Steel Iconic Canteen watch valued at R6,750, a tank of petrol, and a hamper from Bombay Sapphire. Candidates must submit a one-minute video, which will be screened during a panel discussion in Johannesburg.

Students and teachers can access free downloadable maths and science e-books, video tutorials, past papers, and worksheets through the Syafunda Digital platform. The platform also supports mobile access and includes assessments and quizzes to aid learning.

Organisations can participate in the 'Adopt A School' campaign by covering the annual costs to set up and manage a Syafunda Digital library in a school, enabling access for over 1,500 students. This supports educational equity and digital inclusion.
