Calling Academy offers Grade 8 and 9 learners a set of subjects under the South African CAPS curriculum, including English, Afrikaans or isiXhosa, Mathematics, Natural Science, Social Science, Economic and Management Science, Technology, Life Orientation and Creative Arts. Learners must choose an additional language on their application forms.

Calling Academy provides a Grade 10 to 12 subject framework with compulsory subjects and four further subjects chosen from the listed options. Art may be taken at the PJ Olivier Art Centre and Information Technology may be taken at Paul Roos Gymnasium, but the page says these are not guaranteed to be available each year.

- Take the compulsory subjects and choose four further subjects from the choice subjects; where applicable, select Art at the PJ Olivier Art Centre or Information Technology at Paul Roos Gymnasium.
Calling learners can receive exposure to the university environment through visits and practical activities at Stellenbosch University, including visits to the Physics Department and building solar panel phone chargers at the Engineering Faculty.

- Participate as a Calling learner in a group visit to Stellenbosch University and attend activities at the Physics Department or Engineering Faculty.
