Volunteers can assist teachers in the Foundation Phase by helping learners with reading or supporting those facing challenges in their studies. Volunteers are needed once or twice a week.

Families can enrol their children in the Grade R (Reception) programme at Berea Primary School, which offers a nurturing environment focused on emotional, physical, social, and cognitive development. The programme includes the Letterland literacy approach, CAPS curriculum, weekly library and computer centre visits, and extracurricular activities such as music, swimming, drama, painting, and play on sports and jungle gym equipment.

Families can apply for admission for their children into any grade from Reception (Grade R) to Grade 7 for the 2027 school year. Applications open on 5 March 2026 and are currently available.
