Parents may request exemption from detention for their child due to valid reasons. The request must be submitted at least one day before the scheduled detention session via email or letter to the Discipline Manager. The manager evaluates the request and informs the parent of a rescheduled detention date.

A child may apply for admission to Grade R if they are either 4 years old turning 5 by 30 June, or 5 years old turning 6 between July and December in the year of admission. The application requires a completed form, birth certificate, progress report, and proof of residence.
