Girls in Grades 8 and 9 can apply to join the senior choir, known as the 'Blou Engele,' which is one of the top choirs in South Africa. The choir performs at major events including the Pretoria Eisteddfod and the ATKV Applous-kompetisie, and participates in international tours.

An annual cultural festival at Afrikaanse Hoër Meisieskool en Seunskool in Pretoria celebrating student talent in music, drama, writing, visual arts, dance, and culinary competitions. The event includes a gala evening with the awarding of Junior and Senior Artes Victrix Artium titles.
