Synthetic biology
CSIR makes synthetic biology capabilities and related solutions available for applications in agriculture, food, chemicals, biomanufacturing and health, including cancer precision medicine, multi-omics, stem cell technology, synthetic microbial chassis and drug repurposing.
We advance synthetic biology capabilities by applying engineering principles to bio-design, developing new biological components and redesigning existing biological systems to deliver solutions in agriculture, food, chemicals, biomanufacturing and health.
