Amended RFI DUT 005 THE LEASE REFURBISH OPERATE TRANSFER AGREEMENT OF BALTIMORE STUDENT RESIDENTIAL BUILDING 1 1

This is an amended request for expressions of interest (Amended RFI DUT 005) published by the Durban University of Technology, seeking qualified private developers to partner with DUT under a Lease-Refurbish-Operate-Transfer model for the Baltimore Student Residential Building at No. 10 Anton Lembede Road, Durban. The chosen developer would lease, refurbish, finance, operate and maintain the currently non-operational residence and then transfer it back to DUT at the end of a fixed term of no more than thirty years. Submissions must be sent as a single zip folder, shared file or WeTransfer file to tenders@dut.ac.za by no later than 30 September 2026 at 11:00, and a non-compulsory final site visit is scheduled for 18 September 2026 between 09h00 and 10h30. The EOI may lead to a closed bidding process open only to those who submit the required documentation and comply with all specified requirements.
