Overstrand Municipality is advertising three permanent SCM Practitioner posts in its Supply Chain Management department under the Financial Services directorate, based in Hermanus. The work involves implementing procurement systems and controls, providing secretarial and administration support to the Bid Specification, Bid Evaluation and Adjudication Committees, evaluating compliance of tenders and quotations, and opening and registering tenders submitted. The basic salary is R316 224 per annum plus benefits including a 13th cheque, medical aid, pension, housing subsidy/allowance and relocation costs under certain conditions.

competent and self-motivated candidates and candidates from designated groups, including external applicants and internal municipal staff, with a relevant 3-year tertiary qualification, computer literacy in MS Office, communication skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape and 2 - 5 years' relevant experience
