The Cory Library provides access to a wide range of historical materials, including manuscripts, books, periodicals, maps, photographs, audio and video recordings, and digital records, with a special focus on the history of the Eastern Cape, Grahamstown, Lesotho, and Southern Africa.
The Cory Library is at Rhodes University, Makhanda, in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa. Since the initial deposit of Sir George Cory's collections, there has been a particular focus on the history of the Eastern Cape, and on Grahamstown itself.
