Hold on a book currently checked out
If a book you want is currently checked out by another patron, you can place a hold on it. Once the book is returned, the library will notify you by email and set it aside for you to collect from the circulation desk on Level 1 within 7 days (or 2 days for 48-hour items like DVDs). You must bring the barcode and call number of the book to claim it.
We can reserve the book for you and put it on hold. This means that as soon as the book is returned to the library we will put it aside and notify you by e-mail to collect it from the circulation desk on Level 1.
