Experiential Learning Programme
Unemployed young South Africans in the Western Cape can participate in structured skills development and on-the-job training through a government-funded programme. Participants receive monthly stipends and gain practical workplace experience over 4 to 12 months in fields such as business process outsourcing, hospitality, artisanal development, clothing and textiles, and general work and skills training. Upon completion, 80% of participants are guaranteed either permanent or contract employment with participating companies.
