Free Basic Services for Indigent Persons
Households in Mandeni Local Municipality that meet the income and property value criteria are entitled to receive free basic water, free refuse removal, and free sewage disposal services. These services are provided up to a set allocation limit, and any excess consumption is charged at the normal tariff rate.
