Free basic water allocation
Indigent persons who qualify may receive a set amount of water free of charge each month, as defined by the municipality's tariffs.
The owners and/or occupiers of a beneficiary property shall automatically qualify for free basic services where the municipal value of the land and buildings on such property is equal to, or less than, the value determined by resolution of the Council from time to time, as reflected in the Council's tariffs.
