BEL PORTO SKOOL publication

Bel Porto School, located at 2 Arcadia Avenue, Lansdowne, Cape Town, was established in 1985 through the amalgamation of Sunnyday Centre and Marah Training Centre. It moved to its current premises on 8 March 1991 and now serves over 280 learners, with potential capacity for up to 330. The school provides educational and therapeutic support for learners with severe/moderate intellectual and co-occurring impairments, including autism and neurological conditions, with admissions managed through the Western Cape Education Department and other qualified professionals. Its mission focuses on individual development, collaboration among caregivers and therapists, staff training, and knowledge sharing.
