Inter-Grade Speech Evening (English)
Grade 4-7 learners can participate in an Inter-Grade Speech Evening in English. Four learners from each grade are selected to present speeches, and the grade winner receives a trophy. The top Grade 6 or 7 learner advances to the Inter-School Speech Evening hosted by Arbor Primary.

Afrikaans Speech Evening
Grade 4-7 learners can take part in an Afrikaans Speech Evening, where they deliver speeches in Afrikaans. This event showcases learners' language skills in a formal setting.
We are also proud to host an Afrikaans Speech evening for Grade 4-7 learners.
Annual Concert Participation
All learners from Grade 4 to 7 are invited to take part in the Annual Concert, which features a script-based production loosely based on popular tales. Performances are judged on acting ability, responsibility, behaviour, attendance, and number of words.

Art Club Membership
All learners interested in enhancing their creative abilities can join the Art Club, which runs during Terms 1 and 2. The club provides a space for artistic expression and skill development.

Eisteddfod Participation
Learners in the Foundation Phase can participate in the Eisteddfod, which includes individual and group performances in areas like Prescribed Poetry, Reading, Own Choice Poetry, Dramatized Poetry, Duologues, and Speeches. Auditions occur in Term 2, and selected learners perform based on ability.
Auditions take place in Term 2 and learners may be chosen to participate according to their ability.
General Knowledge Quiz Team Selection
Grade 5-7 learners who score highest in the General Knowledge Quiz are selected for their house team. Each team has three members and one reserve, and they compete in a buzzer-based quiz contest called 'The Quickest Finger Wins'. Top teams qualify for the Inter-School Quiz Competition hosted annually by Arbor Primary.
Learners with the highest marks in each house are selected for the House Team. Each team consists of 3 members plus 1 reserve who will go head-to-head in a very exciting quiz contest where open sections see the contestants using buzzers to answer. "The Quickest Finger Wins".
