The Dr. Beyers Naudé Local Municipality is rolling out a new prepaid electricity service that allows users to purchase electricity via cellphone, online, banking apps, banking branches, or retail shops. The service will be implemented in phases, starting with Graaff-Reinet and Aberdeen.
The successful appointed service provider is Utilities World, whom will be taking the process forward for the Municipality from the 1 August 2018.
