What this means

Scholars N' Skaftins is a school tuckshop service operating at three Nova Pioneer sites in South Africa, launched in 2022 after the closure of restaurant businesses during the pandemic. It provides daily meals and snacks for kindergarten students, focusing on nutrition and convenience with custom food solutions and cashless payment via the Karri App at some locations. Each site has a manager and one or two chefs, and the service is currently running successfully under existing contracts. The service is managed by Blairgowrie Primary School and promoted through social media and its website.
