An Elite North West Eagles Traffic Unit Arrests Foreign Nationals With 13 Bags Of Dagga

It reports that two foreign nationals (Eswatini nationals) were arrested after the unit, working with the SAPS Flying Squad Unit, intercepted a vehicle on the N12 near Klerksdorp carrying 13 bags of dagga. The suspects are expected to appear in court soon, and the investigation into the origin and final destination of the drugs is ongoing. The North West MEC Wessels Morweng congratulated the unit and stated the arrest is a blow to interprovincial drug trafficking and that North West will not be used as a drug transit corridor.
