Submit policy-related tax proposals separately
Individuals or entities with tax policy proposals—those that seek to change prevailing tax policy—must submit them separately to Ismail Momoniat, Deputy Director General: Tax and Financial Sector Policy, at National Treasury.

Submit technical tax proposals for 2019 Budget Review
The public can submit technical tax proposals addressing unintended anomalies, revenue leakages, loopholes, or technical issues in current tax legislation. Proposals must not change existing tax policy and must be submitted under specific headings such as income tax – individuals, employment and savings; income tax – domestic business; income tax – international; other taxes; and tax administration legislation.
Members of the public seeking to submit the requested technical proposals have been urged to do so by 23 November 2018.
Attend stakeholder workshops on technical tax proposals
Stakeholders who submitted technical tax proposals may be invited to attend workshops on 6 and 7 December 2018 to clarify their submissions and provide additional information. These workshops are intended to assist in prioritising issues for inclusion in Annexure C of the 2019 Budget Review.
In order to clarify issues raised in the submitted technical proposals and to further assist in the prioritisation of the issues raised, workshops will be held with stakeholders on 6 and 7 December 2018 where further information is required.
