Second Chance Matric Support Programme

National Senior Certificate (NSC) Examinations 2018
Learners are expected to write the 2018 National Senior Certificate exams at one of 8,000 examination centres across South Africa. The exams begin on 15 October 2018, and all learners must ensure they are prepared and have valid identity documents to be certified by Umalusi.
Learners will from 15 October 2018 enter one of the 8000 examination centres around the country to write their exams.
Supplementary Examinations (starting 2019)
Starting in 2019, supplementary exams will be held in June instead of March. This change aims to reduce wasteful expenditure caused by learners who register but do not attend. Learners can use the Second Chance Matric Support Programme to prepare for these exams.
