Circular 08 of 2026 is a weekly public service vacancy circular (except during December) that publishes advertisements of vacant posts and jobs in South African Public Service departments. It instructs candidates to apply using form Z83 with complete particulars and to submit applications to the department where the vacancy exists, indicating the vacancy reference number and meeting the closing dates. It also directs departments to bring the circular to employees’ attention, inform employees declared in excess, assist excess candidates to apply timeously, and apply Employment Equity Act provisions (sections 15 and 20) where vacancies are identified to promote representativeness.
