Submission of external audit certificates
Sasria agents with an annual estimated nett premium of R5 million or more must submit external audit certificates twice a year—by 30 November for the first half-year (ending 30 September) and by 31 May for the second half-year (ending 31 March). Late submissions incur a daily penalty of R500, but extensions may be requested in writing to the Finance Director before the deadline.

Remittance of Sasria premiums via Annexure 1 return
Sasria agents can remit premiums collected on behalf of Sasria by submitting a completed Annexure 1 return with all mandatory details, including agent name, address, VAT number, year, month, collection month, and payment frequency. The return must be sent via email to the Sasria Finance department or through the Customer Web Portal, accompanied by a tax invoice and a clear transaction description.
Remittance of the Sasria premiums by Sasria agents is due within 30 days from the end of the month in which Sasria cover commences.
Request for extension of external audit submission deadline
Sasria agents who cannot meet the audit certificate submission deadlines may request an extension by submitting a written application to the Finance Director before the deadline expires. This allows for flexibility in compliance while maintaining accountability.
