Low-Aromatic Distillates (Mosspar M ASH-M, Mosspar H ASH-H, Mosspar1925 H)
PetroSA supplies low-aromatic distillates with virtually no sulphur or aromatics, very low toxicity, high flashpoints, and low odour. These environmentally and user-friendly hydrocarbons are used in indoor heating fuels, inks, wax polishes, spray lubricants, metal processing, niche industrial fuels, mining solvents, and drilling fluids for deepwater drilling, where they reduce drilling times especially at low temperatures.
Primarily iso-paraffinic, this distillates range is produced using our unique conversion of olefins to distillates (COD) technology.
Synthetic Alcohols (Mosstanol L, Mosstanol 120, Mosstanol P)
PetroSA offers high-quality synthetic alcohols produced from its gas-to-liquids plant in Mossel Bay. These dehydrated alcohols have very low water content and no aldehydes or ketones, making them suitable for use in screen washes, de-icing fluids, paint thinners, printing inks, disinfectants, cleaning fluids, fuel blending, and mining applications.
PetroSA produces several chemicals from its state-of-art gas-to-liquids (GTL) plant in Mossel Bay. These synthetic chemicals fall into two main groups: alcohols and low-aromatic distillates.
