Source Link Reply: The Department, through its Industrial Parks Revitalisation Programme (IPRP), is working with 15-Industrial Parks to deepen the footprint of MSMEs in the manufacturing and services provision sectors. Depending on existing feasibility studies done around each park, township interventions on sectors are at different stages, and largely dependent on existing and potential investors on the ground for uptake. Bulk work on interventions have been made through funding support given by the dtic (incentives under programmes such as the Black Industrialist Programme, etc.) and DFIs (IDC, NEF and SEDFA) to individual enterprises. a. Work is being done in Gauteng (Soweto, Joburg South, Kagiso, Randfontein, Babelegi / Hamanskraal, Garankuwa, Geluksdaal, KwaThema, Tsakane, Lesedi/Ratanda, Boipatong / Vaal); Limpopo (Seshego, Jane Furse, Nkowankowa); KwaZulu-Natal (Umlazi, Mandeni, KwaMashu, Ulundi); Eastern Cape (Mthatha, Komani/Ezibeleni, Zwelitsha, UGIE); Free State (Welkom / Thabong, Thaba-Nchu, Botshabelo, Phuthaditjaba); Northern Cape (Kathu / Gamagara, Upington / Dawid Kruipper, Kuruman); Western Cape (Motherwell, Perseverance, Atlantis); Mpumalanga (KwaMhlanga, KaBokweni, Middleburg/Mkuze). b.
