Special Exit Gratuity (SEG) payment
Eligible political office bearers who leave office may receive a special gratuity payment if they meet the criteria set out in Presidential Proclamation No. 48 of 2016. This includes members of the National Assembly, permanent delegates, the Deputy President, Ministers, Deputy Ministers, Premiers, Members of Executive Council, and members of provincial legislatures who were contributory members of the POBPF before or during the period leading up to the 2019 National Election.
