Bertha Centre (UCT), together with Impact Investing SA, is building a common picture of the Just Energy Transition in South Africa through a systems mapping and knowledge production phase, using systems innovation within a collective impact process, and will culminate in a Roundtable to start implementing a Climate Justice Agenda. The agenda is intended to be ground up and people-centred, with participation from ground up activists, CSOs, organised labour and affected communities in policy making and narrative framing, and the outputs should be packaged for higher-level discussions at industry and national levels.
